Hoi An - avery peaceful destination - away from busy life

No city in the world could remain such an ancient beauty, after nearly 300 circles of the four seasons, as does Hoi An – the famous Old Town in the Mid South of Vietnam. 
Located on the banks of the poetic Thu Bon River, in central Quang Nam province, 30 kilometers south of Da Nang, Hoi An ancient town captivates the essence of the classical Orient. 
Visiting here, you can see ancient architecture, lanes and houses preserved almost100% from  when they were fist built, with moss-grown walls, plain roofs, etc. In front of almost all houses in Hoi An, you can see bougainvillea glabra blooming - especially in summer. 
Motorbikes and car are not allowed to enter the Old Town on the 14th and 15th of each Lunar month, but you can easily go around the Old Town by bicycle, and it’s a really interesting experience.
On the 14th of each Lunar month, Hoi An is illuminated by lanterns and the landscape is really romantic. Board a boat and see a romantic and charming Hoi An in the night with many colorful lanterns.
Hoi An is also famous for its skilled tailors (you can order clothes and shoes and get them within 1 or 2 days).
When visiting Hoi An, don’t forget to taste the local foods including Cao lau, banh mi (Hoi An bread), nem lụi, bánh bèo, hoành thánh….
